You have the option of galvanising your piece. A technique that brings elegance and durability to your creations while keeping your budget under control.
What’s the difference between galvanizing and plating?
In both cases, the technique involves applying a thin layer of gold to the surface of a silver piece. This operation takes place at the end of the manufacturing process, once polishing has been completed. This means that the piece can no longer be heated or adjusted at a later date. Plating offers a more economical alternative, while providing a visual appearance and finish similar to galvanisation. The only difference lies in the thickness of the gold and the presence of a hallmark and certificate issued to comply with plated regulations. Our jewellery products are regularly tested by the Francéclat laboratory, so we can guarantee the quality of the result.
