Several finishings, aspects, materials, colours exist. Each finishing performed on a piece of sterling silver jewellery<\/strong> produces different creative results and brings a touch of personality to the jewellery. Do you want to make jewellery that is light or dark, matt, or smooth, that brings shine or not? Do you want to use a hammered finish? brushed? irregular? Or do you simply want to keep a smooth or matt base and perhaps add some engraving to your jewellery? It is very important to know the different finishings and textures and their importance before creating your collection.<\/p>\n

There are several techniques to give your creation a particular artistic expression. We will see together the most used ones and which ones to choose according to the different styles of jewellery.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

\n\n Galvanisation<\/span>\n

This is an operation in which a layer of metal (yellow gold, pink gold, champagne, or chocolate gold, white or black rhodium) is electroplated onto your silver jewellery. This operation will change the colour of the jewellery and protect it against oxidation.<\/p>\n

In our workshop we can process all your creations in different colours. On our website you can easily choose between White Rhodium or Black Rhodium, Yellow Gold, or Pink Gold<\/strong>. To obtain the pink gold or yellow gold colour, we use the fine gold plating technique, which consists of depositing layers of gold on pieces of silver. Rhodium is used to treat the surface of the silver. This step is done after polishing.<\/p>\n

And if you want to personalise your collections with other types of galvanisations you can ask us for a quote<\/strong>. It is obtained by striking the surface with a mallet to give an irregular aspect. This pattern is created using the reticulation technique. It allows the metal to be textured to create ripples on the surface and thus give a more organic and exclusive look to your jewellery. This finishing makes the surface of the jewellery look like it has been rubbed with very fine sandpaper. It is an irregular polishing that gives this matt, modern and minimalist look.
